SCIENTIFIC PRACTICAL SEMINAR DEDICATED INTRODUCTION OF NEW EXCHANGE FILE IN XML FORMAT AND ADVANCED SOFTWARE FOR LAND MANAGEMENT
May 7th place in Odesa scientific and practical seminar on the introduction of new exchange file in XML format and advanced software for land management. The seminar was attended by most of the subjects of land surveying and evaluating works from different areas, as well as representatives of regional departments of land resources, land management institutions and branches of the Center SLC. An important factor is the participation in the seminar representatives of Odesa, Lviv and Kharkiv faculties land because ShelS Company provides assistance and cooperation in the organization of the educational process on the basis of its software products.
Quality training and involvement of specialists allowed to carry out such a high-level event. Almost always involve any changes to the overview of production technology and retraining. Taking care of its users, the company held Scelsi, one of the first to work on implementing the XML format.
Since Geodetic Information System GIS 6 is used in almost all regions and has proved its effectiveness in the conduct of the State Land Cadastre and perform nearly the full range of land surveying, cadastre and land assessment, a relatively wide range in land is its users. Qualitatively organized technical support of software products as a result of cooperation with users, created the conditions for optimization of the interface and functionality of software allows you to compete with foreign counterparts in comparison to the functional price. Thus, already today it is possible to argue that it is a national product that solves almost all the problems before the ordinary user in land.
The seminar introduced the XML, as its implementation in the program GIS 6, trends in the development of information systems. During the discussion were given answers to some important questions. As a result of the workshop found the need to create courses to improve the skills and training on program GIS 6. After all, powerful features of this product requires establishing a system of preparation on the part of the developer and its branches in the regions. Also pointed to the need to conduct such workshops involving more departments of the State Committee of experts, because they must first be aware of the trends in the development of information systems and the introduction of new standards.
ShelS Company has set itself the goal of increasing promotion of its software products by actively working with users and implementation of product support. Active participation and a large number of representatives from different regions of the seminar enable assert the need of such seminars in the regions of Ukraine. Currently, a video training manual for and planned to send it to all participants.
